Senior Specialist, Small Business & Consumer Operations – Transaction Codes - Hybrid

  • The Transaction Code Team is responsible for the governance, project tracking, development, implementation, and maintenance of existing and new transaction channels and types throughout the bank
  • The team is cross-functional between operations, accounting/controllership, and technology and functions as a core workstream on bank-wide projects

Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains tracking for weekly and monthly governance meetings
  • Maintains and develops procedures and working documentation as needed
  • Provides responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests. Completes research and provides feedback
  • Partners with internal and/or external business partners to route communications, documents, or other action items
  • Research existing infrastructure to identify areas of simplification and improvement
  • Analyzes and reviews data tools, business processes, and operational standards to execute deliverables.
  • Evaluates and will ensure that operations meet company objectives, business needs, service agreements, and relevant requirements.
  • Acts as a subject matter resource for the team
  • Provides strategic input based on functional expertise
  • Identifies and resolves exceptions; escalates appropriately.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
  • Ability to drive escalation and resolution of production problems
  • Understanding of the necessity and value of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of and ability to design, implement, and evaluate standard operating procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel usage or comparable software application
  • Understanding of Corporate Accounting is a plus
  • Experience with Control Testing, Risk and/or Audit is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or an equivalent field. (Required)

Work Experience:

  • Consumer operations experience, preferably in a lending/banking or financial services environment. 1-3 years IC6 (Required)

  • Frequently minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
