Returnships at Santander
What is a Returnship?
Well, at Santander, it’s a paid internship for experienced professionals who’ve left the workforce for various reasons – maybe to have children or care for an ill family member – and are ready to return. We want them to return with us. Why? Because we know this talent pool runs deep and we feel it’s important they get support to roll up their sleeves and rejoin the workforce. We give participants the chance to brush up on their skills and learn about how the tools, technology and industry may have changed while they were out.
Here are the details.
Our Returnship program will be returning. We have made the decision to delay the start of our second cohort until early 2021. Last year, we welcomed six women back to the workforce in our Boston offices. This year, we will triple that as we expand to Dallas and New York.
These Returnship opportunities are aimed at mid-level talent with a financial services background who have taken a multi-year career break and are looking to return to work. This 12-week experience takes place from September to December and will include a series of interactive professional development sessions and career guidance designed to support a transition back to work.
