Responsibilities:

  • This is a front-end Java Script Angular role, not a server-side C#/Java role.
  • Architect solutions working as an expert UI programmer, writing scalable, reusable, and maintainable code.
  • Work closely with other programmers and developers (who may be using different technologies) to develop robust software components, integrating the software with other teams.
  • Act as subject matter expert of the UI, create innovation for complex user interface problems.

Experience Required:

  • A graduate level education with a focus on either: computer science or graphic design
  • 6+ years of UI development experience with JavaScript.
  • 4+ years of experience hooking APIs into the UI.
  • 4+ years of experience with automated UI testing (including visual design) – Jasmine, Jest, Karma.
  • 4+ years of Angular-based UI development.
  • 3 years+ of strong, demonstrable T-SQL skills.
  • Experience with ag-grid, charting, material design.
  • Ability to produce readable, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Ability to implement efficient software to handle large quantities of data.
  • Proficient with version control systems (GIT).
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Openfin or Finsemble experience is a plus.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

For NYC Job Applicants: The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range: $132,250-$161,000. For hourly positions (non-exempt) the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may be based on skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications, and location.
