The Difference You Make:
The Vice President will be a strategic advisor and transaction lead to our clients in financing and other situations, and to lead the entire transaction process from origination to closing, including, origination, structuring and modelling, diligence, lenders presentations and coordination, and negotiation of definitive of documentation. Activities will include providing relevant content and advice to clients related to financing and strategic transactions.

• Assist in developing and maintaining new and existing client relationships, in order to support the team in growing business in the region, including preparation of marketing related material

• Act as the deal team leader(s) in the execution and origination of both advisory and financing mandates

• Provide essential support to deal team leader(s) in the execution and origination of both advisory and financing mandates

• Lead teams in the execution of financing and financial advisory assignments

• Lead team in maintaining knowledge of the Energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as current market conditions and financing trends            

• Prepare structuring materials and financing analyses for pitches and live mandates

• Operate within compliance parameters and demonstrate sound business judgement

• Oversees, mentors and trains junior level staff from a financial, operational, competitive and industry perspective.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business or equivalent field. - Required.
Master's Degree Business or equivalent field. - Preferred.

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• 3+ years in developing complex financial models

• Preferred sector experience: power & renewables, energy transition and traditional energy

• Solid financial modeling and technical capabilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint

• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams

• Team player and self-starter

• Strong interest in new disruptive/clean technologies Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent

• MBA or CFA is a plus

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
