The Difference You Make:

The Sr. Developer position serves as a strong hands-on developer for multiple application initiatives and contributes to the analysis, design, troubleshooting and maintenance of software applications to support business units. He/She creates solutions with minimal guidance and provides technical expertise for the software applications and components in the project. The developer should have a strong ability to solve problems, estimate workload, and communicate solutions of complex problems.

• Ability to program in an object-oriented language (Java, .net, C++, etc).
• Provides expertise in troubleshooting applications, components, and systems.
• Implement, evaluate, and support system enhancements.
• Experience in automating test suites and providing quality assurance functions.
• Researches and implements solutions for performance monitoring, tuning, and systems configuration.
• Contributes to the design and delivery of complex projects to achieve key business objectives.
• Supports the team as a highly motivated individual who communicates effectively

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field. 
• 7+ Years Application Development (java and/or distributed systems experience preferred)
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to continually assess and evaluate solutions to iterate on and improve them.
• Proven understanding of programming paradigms including web development, service-oriented architecture, cloud computing, test driven development and domain driven design.
• Strong services-oriented architecture experience.
• Ability to context switch and work on multiple projects or features.
• Ability to develop and maintain applicable industry knowledge and best practices.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Curiosity and aptitude for working within new technologies and partnering with others to create custom solutions to fit unique business needs.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
