The Difference You Make:
The Sr. Developer position serves as a strong hands-on developer for multiple application initiatives and contributes to the analysis, design, troubleshooting and maintenance of software applications to support business units. He/She creates solutions with minimal guidance and provides technical expertise for the software applications and components in the project. The developer should have a strong ability to solve problems, estimate workload, and communicate solutions of complex problems.
- Ability to program in an object-oriented language (Java, .net, C++, etc).
- Provides expertise in troubleshooting applications, components, and systems.
- Implement, evaluate, and support system enhancements.
- Experience in automating test suites and providing quality assurance functions.
- Researches and implements solutions for performance monitoring, tuning, and systems configuration.
- Contributes to the design and delivery of complex projects to achieve key business objectives.
- Supports the team as a highly motivated individual who communicates effectively

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field.
- 7+ Years Application Development (java and/or distributed systems experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to continually assess and evaluate solutions to iterate on and improve them.
- Proven understanding of programming paradigms including web development, service-oriented architecture, cloud computing, test driven development and domain driven design.
- Strong services-oriented architecture experience.
- Ability to context switch and work on multiple projects or features.
- Ability to develop and maintain applicable industry knowledge and best practices.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Curiosity and aptitude for working within new technologies and partnering with others to create custom solutions to fit unique business needs.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
