The Difference You Make:

The GTB Payments & Cash Management Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, governance, and commercialization of payment and cash management solutions for Corporate & Investment Banking clients. This role ensures products meet regulatory and operational standards while driving innovation, client-centric design, and revenue growth.

The Associate manages the product lifecycle from ideation through implementation and optimization, partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Client Coverage teams to deliver scalable and competitive solutions. This role should also explore and evaluate AI-driven payment orchestration and stable coin-based settlement models to enhance cross-border efficiency, intraday liquidity optimization, and real-time treasury capabilities within the CIB payments ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Commercial Support:

  • Support the development and enhancement of payments and cash management solutions, including domestic and cross-border payments, liquidity structures, account services, and digital channels.
  • Contribute to product strategy and roadmap planning aligned with CIB client needs and market trends.
  • Translate client requirements into scalable and marketable product features.
  • Participate in new product initiatives, enhancements, and go-to-market execution.
  • Assist Sales and Coverage teams with product positioning, pricing support, and customized solution structuring that require complexity.
  • Analyze usage trends and identify opportunities to deepen wallet share.

Product Governance & Risk Oversight:

  • Establish and maintain product policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, legal, and operational standards.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to ensure appropriate product controls and oversight frameworks.
  • Prepare internal documentation and product approval materials for governance forums.
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring of product performance, risk indicators, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide guidance to operational teams for complex or non-standard cash management structures.
  • Assist in sales performance tracking, MIS reporting, and executive updates.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Payments, Cash Management, Liquidity Products, or related Product Management roles within Banking.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Payment rails (ACH, Wires, RTP, cross-border payments)
    • Liquidity management structures (cash concentration, pooling, notional pooling)
    • Treasury services and digital banking platforms
  • Demonstrated understanding of the product development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Ability to create and execute strategic product plans to drive growth.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with forward-thinking mindset and strong sense of ownership.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:

$145,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$175,000.00 USD
