The Difference You Make:
The Financial Systems Analyst plays a critical role in bridging business needs and technology solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing system functionality, supporting enterprise applications, and enabling business process improvements. This role combines business analysis, systems analysis, and technical troubleshooting skills to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of financial platforms such as Oracle Financials (GL), Axiom, and Reg Reporter. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. You will work with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to support in-house application environments (Azure Cloud, Power BI, Qlik Sense) and to troubleshoot across Oracle systems and 3rd party platforms (e.g., Vermeg, Axiom).
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional/technical specifications.
- Support system configuration and administration to ensure stability and compliance with IT and business standards.
- Partner with technical teams to implement, enhance, or upgrade financial and reporting systems, ensuring proper planning and verification of all changes.
- Troubleshoot and triage issues reported by business users; work with Oracle, Qlik Sense, and 3rd party vendors to resolve problems.
- Participate in patch management, release testing, and impact assessments for application updates.
- Recommend and support enhancements to existing systems and tools to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and user experience.
- Collaborate with system analysts, developers, and business partners to support decision-making, especially in financial and regulatory reporting environments.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, support materials, and standard operating procedures.
- Respond to inquiries and service requests with professionalism and timely follow-through.
- Contribute to the implementation of IT-related policies, data quality improvements, and audit-readiness initiatives.
- Support project tasks and testing efforts during application upgrades, implementations, and conversions.
- Analyze user stories and translate them into technical tasks or configuration updates.
- Provide input on data models, workflows, and integrations that support financial business processes.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and system performance summaries.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate lead or manager as needed.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Information Technology or equivalent field.
3+ Years Information Technology, Technical Application Development, or similar experience.
3+ Years Experience providing customer support for IT systems or applications.
3+ Years Experience writing technical documentation for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Technical analyst with knowledge of JAVA (.NET application) & SQL.
- Ability to interact with different teams and perform troubleshooting across Oracle, QlikSense, and 3rd party systems such as Vermeg and Axiom.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.

What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
