The Difference You Make:
Responsible for underwriting and pro-active portfolio management of a portfolio of RWF transactions. Reporting to the SPG Underwriting and Portfolio Management (U&PM) team Manager.
Apply Bank’s Credit policies and framework in support of risk management and business development.
Build strong relationships throughout the Bank. The main partner is the Structure Product Group / RWF product team. Other relevant partners in the bank are Credit, Relationship, and Legal Partners. Support U&PM Manger on special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for underwriting new RWF transactions to assist in the growth of the RWF portfolio.
- Responsible for the quality, integrity and soundness of all credit analysis and underwriting, and proposing appropriate risk ratings in accordance with the Bank’s credit policies and guidelines.
- Responsible for making recommendations on renewals, modifications, and new transactions.
- Maintain credit files in accordance with policy.
- Manage credit approval process. Prepare presentations for credit committees. Respond to questions as they arise.
- Work closely with and support product team in transaction execution. Coordinate with the corporate credit team and RM on relationship implications for RWF deals.
- Review and validate cash flow models for new transactions and perform stress test analysis.
- Have thorough knowledge of credit policies and procedures and ensure adherence to them. Proactively propose amendments to RWF policy to improve efficiency while remaining compliant with the wider bank policy.
- Ensure regulatory and legal compliance is achieved on RWF transactions.
- Perform ongoing portfolio monitoring of RWF transaction performance (including performance triggers) to identify and anticipate credit issues in a timely fashion.
- Stay current on industry developments, update management as necessary, and propose rating changes when necessary to appropriately reflect credit quality of RWF transactions in the portfolio at all times.
- Support RWF Manager on special projects.

Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience. Quantitative background is a plus.
- 2 to 6 years’ experience.
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and industry data sources.
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple asset classes.
- Deep knowledge of RWF cash flow models.
- Understanding of legal documentation for ABS transactions.
- Completion of a formal credit training program would be a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of managing and leading transactions, within a team environment to manage, monitor and grow portfolio.
- Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization to obtain cooperation and to foster a business environment that is based upon mutual respect and teamwork.
- Ability to work independently as needed to achieve objectives.
- Knowledge of credit policies, procedures, regulations and applicable law.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software package, Word, Powerpoint, Excel & Outlook.
- Programing skills would be a highly values plus.
Certifications:
- Other: Completion of bank-certified course in Credit Training - Preferred.
It Would Be Nice For You To Have:
- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Experience in Microsoft Office products.
What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
