The Difference You Make:

The Associate - Business Technology Project Lead will play a key role within the CIB IT PMO, leading and overseeing the delivery of business-driven technology initiatives across the portfolio. The role will act as a primary bridge between Business and Technology, ensuring business priorities are translated into clear execution plans and delivered through effective coordination across Application Development, Infrastructure, Operations, Security, and other technology teams.

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of business-driven technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, scope, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Provide delivery oversight across multiple concurrent projects, identifying risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and potential impacts across the portfolio.
  • Directly manage selected strategic or complex projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
  • Act as a key liaison between Business and Technology teams, translating business priorities into actionable technology delivery plans.
  • Coordinate across Application Development, Infrastructure, Operations, Security, Architecture, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to Project Managers, helping drive consistent project management standards, governance, and execution discipline.  
  • Prepare and communicate clear executive-level project and portfolio updates, focusing on progress, risks, decisions, and business impact.
  • Support portfolio prioritization and capacity planning, ensuring resources are aligned with the highest-priority business initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with Business and Technology stakeholders and drive alignment across teams with different priorities and objectives
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across multiple teams..

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required
  • Master's Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Preferred


Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years Java, JavaScript, API and Vendor APIs, Jira, VMware Virtualization and Scrum Methodology - Required.
  • 5+ Years Knowledge of Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC). - Required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Technology Project / Program Management, Technology Delivery, or similar roles, preferably within financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience managing business-driven technology projects in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of technology delivery lifecycles (SDLC) and the interaction between applications, infrastructure, architecture, security, and operations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong experience in risk, dependency, issue, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with Agile and/or traditional project management methodologies.
  • Experience working in regulated environments and familiarity with technology governance, change management, and operational risk.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand business objectives and translate them into technology delivery priorities.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:

$145,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$180,000.00 USD
