Position Summary:
The IT Governance & Risk Control Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of governance and administrative duties. The Sr. Analyst, Business Control & Risk Management operates within the First Line of Defense and is accountable to assist the Business Control & Risk Management team on driving effective and consistent business line execution against the Technology andThird Party Risk Framework.the Sr Analyst works to identify, assess for key risks throughout the assigned business line by, driving business unit compliance with applicable risk frameworks/policies and standards.The Sr. Analyst will become a subject matter expert and assist with completion of business line risk initiatives, as assigned, such as risk assessments, KRI/KPI development and monitoring, and on-time remediation of issues and monitoring of adherence to technology and third party standards.They must be able to effectively partner with various stakeholders.
Position Duties / Responsibilities:
This role will provide support to the IT Governance &Third Party Risk Program to ensure alignment with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with internal and external service providers to enforce program requirements.
• Review and challenge programs risk assessments and results
• Support, create and present monthly reporting to the respective committees
• Assist Service managers in mandatory task to comply with standards
• Manage and assess audit (internal & external) request along with discussion and challenge auditor’s feedback.
• Assess new standards and identify gaps and solution to adhere compliance
• Assist in the creation, challenge and monitored of Action Drivers, as applicable.
• Assist in creating and tracking of the yearly IT strategy and reporting to Committees and Board
• Assess and Approve Technology changes along with artifacts for compliance within standard
• Provide support in the yearly Business Impact Analysis refresh along with assist in the activation of the BCP
• Participate and/or provide support to continued enhancements of the program processes to improve efficiencies.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
Business Experience:
Entry Level
Specialized and/or Technical Knowledge:
• Basic understanding of processes within IT Governance and Control
• Knowledge of the financial services sector
• Superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks
• Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently, ability to properly prioritize and manage time, strong work ethics, team player
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Languages:
English and Spanish.
What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
