The Difference You Make:
The Senior PPNR Model Development Analyst is responsible for executing model risk management activities consistent with the enterprise model risk management framework, industry best-practice and regulatory guidance. This is a critical role in developing and maintaining Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR) models that support regulatory stress testing and internal capital planning.
Executes model risk management activities consistent with the enterprise model risk management framework, industry best-practice and regulatory guidance.
Assesses risk model conceptual soundness.
Evaluates model assumptions and data integrity.
Tests models numerical, statistical, and computational accuracy.
Performs outcome analysis.
Reviews model governance and control processes.
Perform model monitoring, back-testing, and recalibration to ensure continued model performance.
Support regulatory stress testing efforts by running PPNR model forecasts for use with CCAR/DFAST/ICAAP submissions.

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or equivalent quantitative field, or equivalent work experience - Required.
Master's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or equivalent quantitative field. - Preferred.
Ph.D. Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or equivalent quantitative field. - Preferred.
5+ Years Risk Management and/or Risk Modeling- Required.
Strong technical skills in programming languages in SAS, SQL, and Python – Required.
Strong foundation in financial modeling, banking products, and a deep understanding of the macroeconomic factors that influence revenue and expense drivers in a banking environment.
Design, develop, and maintain PPNR models for key revenue and expense components such as Net Interest Income, Non-Interest Income (fee-based income), and Non-Interest Expense.
Advanced knowledge of model risk management best practices and how to implement them.
Advanced quantitative skills.
Demonstrated practical modeling experience.
Detail orientated with the ability to also understand overall strategy.
Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances.
Ability to lead, influence and direct peers, subordinates and management.
Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive.
Ability to build and foster internal relationships.
Ability to analyze risk and design efficient control practices to minimize risk.
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to be adept in identifying and resolving complex risk management problems.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Salary: $90,000 - $165,000/year
