Associate, Controllership – Hybrid

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Advanced knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, including US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards.
• Strong MS-Excel skills.
• Experience with Oracle EPM and ERP applications
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify issues, and implement solutions
• Ability to manage engagement in projects to support Controllership objectives

 SQL experience preferred.

 Banking – financial accounting and data analytics experience.

 Accounting degree

• Able to work 3 days a week in either of our corporate offices which are located in Dallas, Texas or Wyomissing, Pennsylvania

• Implements solutions to existing problems within the reporting team.
• Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures for implementation.
• Recommends best practices in accounting policies and processes to business lines as needed.
• Provides well-analyzed and defined recommendations on process improvements to the reporting team.
• Ensures adequate controls, reporting, and documentation is maintained for supported applications.
• Coaches and reviews work of junior level professionals as needed.
• Influences and informs others regarding accounting policies, practices, and procedures.

What You Bring:

Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or an equivalent field - Required.
Master's Degree: Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or an equivalent field - Preferred.

5+ Years Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar field within the Banking or Financial Services Industry - Required.

• Advanced knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, including US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards.
• Proficient skills in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
• Experience with Oracle EPM and ERP applications.
• Experience with PowerBI, Python, or other datamining tools
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environment.
• Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances.
• Ability to engage across departments as a part of a project team
• Ability to influence others.
• Ability to lead and coach junior level professionals.
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees, including senior level management.
• Ability to leverage technology to improve and automate business tasks.
• Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to details and can analyze information quickly.

Certifications:
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) - Preferred.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Salary: $69,375 - $120,000/year
