The Difference You Make:

The primary function of the Director, Audit is to provide leadership to the internal audit team, lead the execution of the risk-based Internal Audit Plan the area under its responsibility and assist the Sr. Director in the execution of key audit processes. The Director ensures the audit program is executed in a timely manner, ensuring all audit quality and adequate communication with all key stakeholders.

• Provides leadership to the internal audit team and assists the Director in directing the internal audit program in the area under its responsibility.
• Reviews industry standards and regulatory rules and expectations to ensure they are incorporated into audit procedures and properly covered by the audit team.
• Builds effective teams and manages and develops talent within them. Provides team members with on the job training.
• Assists the Director/CAE in the risk assessment exercise in the area under its responsibility.
• Builds and maintains key client relationships; is a trusted adviser to clients in enhancing the control environment and operational efficiency.
• Ensures high-quality, error free and timely audit reports, recommendations and ratings.
• Ensures timely completion of the approved audit plan in the area under its responsibility.
• Participates in the completion of internal audit staff performance appraisals, promotion recommendations, terminations, and professional development.
• Proposes new audit techniques and procedures to improve effectiveness/efficiency of audit reviews and activities.
• Attends professional training actions provided by the company.
• Provides consistent quality service to both internal and external stakeholders that meets the company’s standards.
• Oversees the Audit Managers leading reviews and activities.
• Reviews and approves final recommendations, ratings and reports, prior to presentation to the CAE.
• Assists the Audit Manager, where applicable, in presenting, discussing and agreeing audit results and recommendations with business management.

Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent field. - Required.
Master's Degree Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent field. - Preferred.

9+ Years Audit or relevant experience. - Required.
9+ Years On an exceptional basis and in the case of high specialized / complexity areas previous audit experience could not be required. - Required.

• Analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work independently.
• Technology and computer skills, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Detail oriented with organizational skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicated with senior management.
• Time management skills and the ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner.
• Possesses a broad and comprehensive understanding of the business or area.
• Ability to positively and comfortably handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with focused attention to detail .
• Solid diplomatic skills with the ability to resolve conflict in a civil manner.
• Great leadership skills, teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
• Progressive decision making skills, making educated and timely judgments.
• Ability to train team members adequately to advance skills and knowledge.

Certifications:
• Other CIA or field-related certification (CPA, CRCM, CRMA, CFE, CAMS, CFSA, CBA, etc.) could be required depending on the area; others preferred - Preferred.

Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$123,750.00 USD

Maximum:

$215,000.00 USD
