The Difference You Make:
Santander is seeking a talented sponsorships and experiential marketing professional to join the Brand team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the development, coordination and executions of the Santander and Openbank sponsorships portfolio. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that sponsorships investments are maximized through creative, measurable, and brand-aligned consumer experiences – both in-person and across digital channels. The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker with project management skills and a passion for sports, entertainment, and culture.
- Assist in the development of strategy and objectives for the activation of sponsorship properties
- Lead day-to-day planning and execution of multi-channel sponsorship campaigns, including experiential activations, hospitality programs, social media promotions, and in-venue branding
- Manage agency partners in the develop of creative campaigns and physical activations
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, global marketing teams, and communications teams to integrate sponsor messaging across channels
- Track and manage sponsorship deliverables, deadlines, and contract compliance to ensure all commitments are fulfilled.
- Coordinate the production of event collateral and branded content with creative and production teams.
- Partner with communications and media teams to amplify sponsorship activities through earned and paid channels.
- Assist in post-campaign reporting, including performance metrics, recap decks and wrap up reports
- Manage post-activation recaps and analysis to inform ongoing strategy and optimization
- Maintain detailed budgets and reconcile expenses in collaboration with Director of Brand Sponsorships
- Where necessary, assist with onsite activations and VIP hospitality programs at major events with responsibilities including vendor/agency management, coordination with property partners, and communicating updates to the internal team
- Aid in the creation of KPIs and communicating metrics and opportunities through written reports, presentations, and stakeholder status meetings
- Coordinate information sharing amongst internal team and external partners related to event activations

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent field. - Required.
- Master's Degree Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent field. - Preferred.
- 9+ Years Marketing, Communications or related experience. - Required.
- 3+ Years Financial Services Industry/Banking experience - Required.
- Demonstrated ability to map out a social and web marketing and communications strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics.
- Ability to motivate or influence inside or outside senior level personnel, requiring a significant level of influence and trust.
- Extremely strong written abilities, with consideration of creative writing preferred.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of critical thinking skills.
- Comfortable with new digital technology, social media, and reporting.
- Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
- Candidate must be able to think strategically but be willing and able to roll up sleeves to help implement the programs and measure results.
- Strong project management skills, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment; including counterparts across global organization.
- Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment; ability to listen, evaluate different view points and influence others.

What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
