The Difference You Make:
The Head of Supervision & Trading will be responsible for overseeing all trading activities and supervisory functions within the broker-dealer. This individual will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain effective risk management practices, and lead the supervision and trading teams. The role requires deep market knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to implement policies that comply with our regulatory environment.
• Serve as the designated supervisory principal for the broker-dealer while overseeing daily supervision of registered representatives, branch offices, and trading activity.
• Review exception reports, trade blotters, and surveillance alerts to identify potential issues. Conduct branch and desk reviews, as well as periodic certifications.
• Act as liaison between senior management, compliance, operations, and sales functions.
• Manage, train, and mentor supervision and trading teams.
• Coordinate with clearing firms, counterparties, and technology providers to ensure smooth trade processing and settlement.
• Oversee the firms trading operations, ensuring best execution, proper trade reporting, and adherence to trading limits.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business, Finance, Management, or equivalent field. - Required.
9+ Years Supervision & Trading in Broker Dealer - Required.
• Ability to direct, train and guide peers, subordinates and management.
• Ability to handle conflict resolution with other groups to ensure appropriate accounting guidance is followed.
• Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances.
• Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with multiple levels of the organizational structure, including senior level management.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt/adjust to multiple demands and competing priorities.
• Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.
• Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive issues/projects to closure.
• Ability to effectively interact with the market, executive management and vendors.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and customer service skills.
• Strong risk, process, and control validation and/or assessment skills.
Certifications:
• FINRA Series 7, 24, and 53 licenses - Required.
• FINRA Series4, 9/10, 65/66 licenses - Preferred.

Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
