The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for administering the day-to-day defined procedures, analyses and report preparations for the Financial Planning & Analysis function.
This is a HYBRID position where you'll be in either our Boston, MA or Miami, FL corporate office 3 days a week. No relocation.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Understand reconciliation concepts and techniques.
- Excel proficiency with pivot data & tables, troubleshoot formulas, and perform lookups.
- Nice to have:
- Understanding BI query tools (Power BI, Business Objects, etc.)
- Understanding maintenance & management of Financial Management Information Systems, SQL
The Difference You Make:
- Conducts financial and economic analysis and forecasting and evaluates alternate financial plans.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of the Financial Management Information System against General Ledger.
- Trend analysis to ensure the stability of the Financial Management Information System daily and month over month.
- Maintenance of queries in SAP Business Objects as needed.
- Create, load, and validate various management adjustments during the month-end close process.
- Documentation of processes, reconciliations, and management adjustments.
- Maintains mapping tables for Operational & Accounting metadata.
- Conducts and documents complex financial analysis projects.
- Provides support to the FP&A function as needed.
- Develops and implements adjustments to working methods.
- Will communicate with others to gather, confirm, and clarify information.
- Reconcile FMIS (Financials Management Information System) to Accounting General Ledger.
- Monthly management adjustments
- Communicate potential data issues in the FMIS system related to reconciliation and trend analysis. (Management & IT)
- May provide functional advice or training to less experienced financial analyst.
- Provides support to the FP&A function as needed.
- Develop & implements adjustments to working methods.
- Communicates with others to gather, confirm and clarify information.
- Collaborates with partners in technology on Business-As-Usual changes & new initiatives.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Finance, Accounting and/or Economics or equivalent field. - Required.
- 0+ Years Financial planning, financial analysis, Budgeting, or similar field - Required.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to research, organize, understand, and analyze financial data.
- Ability to focus on details and accuracy.
- Proficient data entry skills within Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
- Basic knowledge of financial analysis and budgeting/planning procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams as well as independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects according to departmental priorities while adhering to deadlines.

- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Oracle Hyperion.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
