The Difference You Make:
The Product Specialist for DCM – USPP is responsible for helping to identify potential issuers from among the bank’s clients, educate internal and external stakeholders regarding the product attributes and to win mandates to execute transactions. The role also includes the ability to structure the debt transactions, identify the optimal target investors and market/execute the deal. The brief includes:
- Field inbound inquiries from Corp Finance, Sponsors, M&A and regional bankers globally re: interest in USPP issuance from Santander clients
- Produce and supervise production of marketing pitch books
- Lead an USPP private placement transaction in execution from engagement to closing (with oversight from Global Head)

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business or equivalent field. - Required.
- Master's Degree: Business or equivalent field. - Preferred.
- 8+ Years in the USPP space - Required.
- Experience and focus in Infra/Project Finance USPP deal - Preferred.
- Extensive deep relationship with primary USPP investors in the US, Canada and UK/Europe
- Very strong interpersonal communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication.
- Expert presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation, as well as analytical skills.
- Demonstrated complex contact negotiation/creation skills.
- Ability to work remotely and independently.
- Ability to influence and drive complex initiatives and manage logistics with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory as required.
- Ability to analyze/understand leading technologies and companies.
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
- Ability to translate data into information.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others.
Certifications:
- FINRA certified Series 7, 63, 79 registered.
It Would Be Nice For You To Have:
- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Experience in Microsoft Office products and Bloomberg.
What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
