WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Group Profile:

The Front Office Developer group is within the larger technology team and supports many critical processes across the front office. This includes onboarding and support of sales and trading as well as maintaining and expanding the trading systems.

Role & Responsibilities:  Trading software specialist

• Work with the algo trading team on the internally developed eTrading platform

• Work with the Front Office team to support trading/sales

• Support existing software

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS or other hard science discipline is preferred

• Advanced degree is preferred

• Minimum 5years of algo trading software development, pricing and order execution strategies.

• 12-15+ years; Experience in field or similar industry

• Fixed income experience strongly preferred, especially on bond analytics, treasury note and futures.

• C/C++ development experience, multi-threading

• Strong java server-side programming skills

• Development experience Spring framework, Camel, REST

• SQL skills: Postgres, Sybase, Snowflake

• ION development experience

• Experience with SVN, GIT

• Familiar with build/delivery tools (such as Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, Puppet)

• Familiar with messaging systems LBM, Light streamer, MQ

• Familiar with FIX protocol

• Ability to work in a fast paced, energetic, and entrepreneurial work environment.

• Strong teamwork skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Attention to the details and strong organizational skills

• Proactive; self- motivated and goal oriented

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $155,737-$230,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
