Position Summary
The Enterprise Architect gives architecture advice on strategic, tactical and operational levels to different stakeholders at all levels of the organization. He/she contributes to the strategic plan. Keeps the enterprise-wide architecture criteria, principles, policies and standards up to date.
The Enterprise Architect works with the Business Product Owners to understand and define business needs and requirements and proposes solutions for those needs. He/she works closely with the Development Team, IT Operations and InfoSec to ensure all technology solutions are designed and implemented in accordance with the enterprise architecture
The Enterprise Architect reports to the Systems Development Director
Position Duties / Responsibilities
- Understand company needs to define system specifications
- Plan, design and document the structure of a technology solution
- Consults and works closely with technical team members to ensure all requirements have been accurately addressed as well as supports the technical group during the design and development activities
- Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
- Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
- Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
- Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
- Works with InfoSec and IT Governance to ensure compliance with policies, standards and procedures
Education: 10-15 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
