WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGUSA Job Function Description: Underwrites risk (i.e., selection/rejection of new and renewal business). Analyzes quality and quantity of risks underwritten and prepares reports accordingly. Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, laws and regulations. May review books of business as well as profit/growth results and trends to recommend and implement action plans. Essential Functions/Responsibilty Statements: Participates in projects that help improve and streamline the credit delivery process. Prepares high quality, detailed credit approval documents that contain an in-depth analysis and an understanding and identification of credit issues and risks. Decisions loan requests in accordance with the organization's loan policies and procedures. Recommends proper loan structuring that limits risk. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Work Experience: 3-5 years ; Related experience and/or training.
