We're HiringCustomer Service Representativesfor our Next Collections Training Class Starting June 13th, 2022. This position isLocation-Dependentand the job itself is located inEast Providence, RI- USA and it pays $20/hour.

TheCustomer Service/Collections Representativeis responsible for the collection of past-due consumer loans, overdrafts, and credit card accounts via telephone contact with customers, resolving customer issues with regard to their outstanding balances, and negotiating repayment terms with customers in accordance with bank guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS

  • Takes inbound calls and makes outbound calls
  • Identify customer service issues and route them to the appropriate area for resolution
  • Provide first-tier support to resolving customer service issues  
  • Uses skip tracing techniques to locate and contact customers
  • Advise customers of their responsibilities under the terms of the contract
  • Provide individual loan counseling on acceptable repayment terms
  • Communicates with other departments regarding special circumstances on customer accounts
  • Sets up arrangements for repayment on past due accounts
  • Makes updates on customer information on accounts
  • Works customer collection issues
  • When hired, will attend a 4-week Collections/Customer Service Training Class in East Providence, RI -- Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
  • Hours of Operation:  Monday/Tuesday/Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm & Wednesday/Thursday 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
  • This job is location-dependent - East Providence, Rhode Island

EDUCATION - High School Diploma or GED - 0-3 years of professional work experience.

EXPERIENCE - Banking, Collections, or Customer Service Call Center experience preferred.
