Associate Director, Platform & Delivery Management (nCino)

The nCino Associate Director, Platform & Delivery Management is the technology owner of the platform and is responsible for directing and guiding the evolution of the platform as a key efficiency driver for SBNA’s Commercial, Real Estate and Vehicle Finance businesses.

The candidate will be accountable for delivering high complexity projects to satisfy business requirements as well as onboarding new lines of business to the platform. The Candidate will also oversee the day to day management of the platform, including bug management and resolution. The candidate is accountable for the platform evolution and long-term stability and effectiveness. The candidate will be working on leading edge nCino features and integrations. The candidate, engages in the solution proposal process which involves researching and finding the appropriate technology, educating, and creating the approach to implement that technology. The candidate will manage a team of highly skilled and motivated individuals, consistent of Delivery Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Testers and System Integrators.

The candidate will be accountable for continuing an excellent working relationship with the business to ensure needs are properly understood, that expectations are managed and met.

Responsibilities:

  • Advises and consults on technologies costs, benefits, and implementation requirements
  • Anticipates business needs and researches technologies that would be appropriate to meet those business needs
  • Articulates emerging technologies, their strengths, weaknesses, risks and their application within enterprise
  • Coordinates work plans to achieve expected results per expected timelines by utilizing resources from all parts of the organization
  • Defines systems/platforms architecture and integration strategy and recommend design solutions
  • Develops and maintains solution architecture blueprints
  • Develops processes to ensure alignment between the business strategies and applied technology roadmap
  • Envisions, develops, proves, and articulates innovative solutions to business requirements
  • Evaluates and recommends technology acquisitions and alternative solutions/methodologies/strategies
  • Leads and promotes strategic direction of IT Infrastructure Technologies based on business requirements
  • Performs Proof of Concept testing in a lab environment
  • Seeks opportunities to implement standards, policies, and process improvements
  • Serves as a point cross-functional technical leader on various projects
  • Master's Degree in computer science engineering or an equivalent discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 12-15 years demonstrated experience around designing architecture, leading POC's, and leading implementation efforts in the nCino/Salesforce space

  • Exposure to multiple hosting environments such as AIX, Linux, Windows Server, HP Servers
  • Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team
  • IT Effectiveness: application sourcing, technology strategy and planning
  • Knowledge of enterprise strategies and project management processes
  • Proven track record managing large, complex software development/integration projects in both host and distributed environments
  • Strong reporting, decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking
